IOMKRA can confirm that Regulations are now available for the 2019 season and take this opportunity to apologise for the delay in the publishing, these are available under the Documents section.
Those regulations available are Championship, Supplementary and Technical and there have been some changes the Committee have made for the coming season.
The changes are mainly focused around the Technical Regulations and an overview of these is given below, but all competitors are encourage to review all three documents.
Addition of the class (subject to final confirmation)
Change to LS2 being the sole tyre to ensure a level playing field on a cheaper and more readily available tyre.
Extreme Class : Change in restrictor size and the mandatory use of DEP exhausts to ensure performance parity and bring into line with UK regulations.
Wet tyres permitted when meeting has been declared open
Confirmation of engine Buy Back scheme been implemented officially in the clubs regulations. This previously was an unwritten rule since the introduction of the engines.
